Tuftec has the in house skills and capabilities to develop a wide range of
solutions for the transport industry. These can range from simple “add on”
haptic, driver alert devices to notify vehicle operators of hazard situations,
through to sophisticated hybrid vehicle drive and control systems
suitable for commercial transport and recreational vehicle applications.
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) is a very broad field. It covers areas
such as rail crossing alert systems, traffic monitoring, flow prediction,
driver information systems, driver assist technologies and hazard alert
technologies (such as VibAlert).
Tuftec has the skills and capabilities to assist with developments in many of
these areas.
Recently Tuftec has become involved in the development of hybrid vehicle
technologies suitable for use in commercial transport, recreational and military
vehicle application. This technology is intended to be provided in both retrofit
and OEM forms.
