Flood Warning Systems

A Flood Warning System typically consists of a number of water level and weather condition sensors connected to an intelligent control system. Water levels and other weather conditions are monitored at critical locations within a geographical area. When conditions satisfy pre-set trigger points, the system initiates the transmission of warning messages and can additionally activate local access control mechanisms.

DipStik is an innovative self-contained monitoring and alarm device designed to provide remote flood warning information via the mobile phone network, using SMS, email messaging and web page access.

Each device is self-powered (solar/battery) and requires no wired network or power connections, significantly reducing installation costs.

DipStik units can be installed cost effectively as single units or can be networked together to provide flood management over a larger geographic area.

Flood alarm messages can be sent to anyone, anywhere in the world that has mobile phone or internet access.

DipStik Flood Warning Systems provide a wide range of monitoring and access control options, including:

  • Multiple level sensors
  • Digital monitoring cameras
  • Access control boom gates
  • Emergency egress gate control
  • Flashing lights and signage
  • Warning sirens

  • Cloud based client Emergency Management System integration
  • Rain gauge integration with excessive rain event alert triggers
  • Legacy alarm control panel integration
  • Internet of Things communication options (LoRaWAN, NBIoT, CatM1 & Sigfox)
